Send chat conversation transcript to your customer

This article is for you if you want to know how to send chat transcripts to your customers or yourself

If your customer requested a conversation transcript or you would like to send it to yourself, here is what you need to do:

  • Go to your inbox

  • Near the 'Tag' feature click on the horizontal three dots in the header

  • If you want to send the transcript to your email address, click on 'Send transcript to Me'

  • If you want to send the chat transcript directly to the customer's email address, click on 'Send transcript to Customer'

  • If you clicked on 'Send transcript to Me', there will be a default email address in the email field or you can enter a different one and then hit 'Send transcript'

  • If you clicked on 'Send transcript to Customer', there will be a default email address in the email field or you can enter a different one and then hit 'Send transcript'

If a customer wants to receive the transcript right in the chat, we recommend you to send it to your email address, download it, and attach it as a file in the chat conversation in your inbox.
